WooDaRealest Collabs with Killer Mike for Greatness

WooDaRealest Collabs with Southern Legend Killer Mike

WooDaRealest collaborated with Killer Mike over the weekend and released the new track Greatness. The song’s narrative of Black men overcoming discrimination in America is timely with the 2020 Presidential Election around the corner.

When the track dropped on DSPs, Killer Mike took to his Instagram and broke down what the song meant to him “‘Greatness’ is a timely anthem about persevering in the face of discrimination”.

Greatness is part of a compilation project named I am OTHER Volume 2 that aids artists struggling during the pandemic

Momentum of Greatness Attracts Major Support

Following the release of Greatness, there have been several artists who have shown support to WooDaRealest by reposting clips of the song on their social media platforms. The biggest endorsements include posts from industry veterans like TI and Pharrell showing that the energy of the song is understood on a sizable scale in the Hip-Hop community.

Greatness is another example of Killer Mike’s evolution as an activist and humanitarian along with winning the Billboard Change Maker Award earlier this month.  With collaborations of this caliber under his belt, WooDaRealest’s future moves will be interesting to watch.

Killer Mike Gives a Genuine Call of Unity

Throughout Greatness Killer Mike uses his experience coming up from the streets and states the same process of becoming a street leader can be used to become a revolutionary.  The goal is to help each other in the Black community and not judge one another based on a difference of opinion.

The message of Greatness is summed by the closing lines from Killer Mike when he states “The revolution never moves until the people do”.  Greatness can be listened to on all DSPs including Soundcloud.
