The young Parkway Gardens star recently dropped “Welcome to O’Block“. Originally from 64th and M.L. King Drive, King Von moved to Atlanta as his rap career continued to evolve.
The duo faced murder charges in Atlanta but after having a second chance at freedom, both artists went full throttle in their rap careers. On King Von’s recent project, “Welcome to O’Block“, Lil Durk is featured on “Back Again“, and “All These N#####”.” The album also features artists Fivio Foreign, Dreezy, and Moneybagg Yo.
King Von and Lil Durk were childhood friend
And they even remained close in adulthood. The young talent dropped viral singles like “Crazy Story”, “Demon“, “Can’t Relate“, and “Why He Told.”
Family, fans, and associates poured out heartfelt messages on social media following the rising star’s passing. Many were not prepared for King Von’s untimely death.
Just before the rap star from Parkway Gardens passing, the “O’Block” legend posted to social media on Thursday that he would be dropping a video for his single “Armed and Dangerous” on Friday.
The Chicago native had a unique style in how he told stories about street life. The rapper received much love and support for his latest project “Welcome to O’Block.” Unfortunately, this would be the last album the artist would put out for the world to hear.

Second consecutive shooting at the same night club.
This was the second shooting at the Monaco night club within a 24 hour time frame. After the first shooting early on Thursday, two were wounded, but investigators have not made a connection to the deadly incident that happened early Friday morning.
Gunfire stemmed from an argument between two groups. Two officers in uniform and one off-duty officer who was security at the lounge were nearby when the altercation and made an attempt to intervene, according to Atlanta police Deputy Chief Timothy Peek.
“That physical altercation escalated into an exchange of gunfire with those groups,” Peek said. “Two police officers who were working at that particular club, or lounge, noticed the altercation and engaged some of the people involved. There was an exchange of gunfire with police as well.”
Investigators work to find out who fired deadly shots.
Police have not yet determined who is responsible for firing the deadly shots. As we’re nearing the end of the calendar year, numbers in officer involved shootings continue to rise.
None of the officers were injured and the GBI has been called to investigate the OIS.
