Lawyer of T.I. and Tiny’s Alleged Victims Makes Bold Accusations at Press Conference
Atlanta’s Hip-Hop power couple Clifford Harris and Tameka Cottle aka T.I. and Tiny have been amid great adversity following the allegations that the couple drugged and raped at least 11 women.
Today (March 1), a lawyer representing the alleged victims named Tyrone Blackburn held a press conference stating what is being done to bring the truth to light.
In the press conference, Blackburn claims that he has forwarded evidence to the Attorney General in Atlanta and California incriminating T.I and Tiny in the kidnapping, drugging, and raping of women in incidents dating back to 2007.
Blackburn is looking to prosecute the Harris’ for violating the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA), RICO, Rape, and Terrorist Threat Statutes.
Another interesting detail that Blackburn noted at his press conference was that Steve Sadow, the lawyer representing T.I. and Tiny reached out to him on February 11 to negotiate a settlement deal to avoid any criminal charges.
Blackburn released a statement citing the only way that he would be open to the settlement from Sadow:
“If the deal involves Tiny and T.I. turning themselves in and admitting to the crimes that they’ve committed, then fine, we got a deal… if it does not, then I would prefer to have the investigators do their work and to bring criminal charges against Tiny and T.I. for what they’ve done throughout the years,”
Blackburn is also insistent that Sadow pressed hard for the names of the victims that he was representing, however, Blackburn refused to disclose the information.
Sadow responded to Blackburn’s accusations about requesting the settlement on February 11:
“I understand that at a virtual press conference today, attorney Blackburn claimed the Harris’ reached out to him through me to supposedly make a deal. That is patently false,”
“I reached out to see if he would share any information since his name was posted on Instagram as the attorney for Sabrina Peterson. Blackburn repeatedly refused to provide the names of his accuser-clients or any corroborating or supporting evidence of his groundless claims. The Harris’ repeat that they are confident if a thorough and fair investigation is conducted, no charges will be brought,”
At this time there have been no charges officially filed against T.I. or Tiny.
