Twitter is testing ‘voice tweets’ right now, according to Apple’s Blog. They are working to, “add a more human touch to the way we use Twitter – your voice.”
Each voice tweet captures up to 140 seconds of audio. People will “see” your voice, and the tweet will appear on their timeline alongside others for followers to listen to.

Creating voice tweets will be available to a limited group of people on Twitter for iOS to start but in the coming weeks, everyone on iOS should be able to tweet with their voice. A lucky few have already gotten to use the new product and have been sharing the new experience across the internet.
