We have had artist come and go but some legends will never die that legacy live on today. Hip-hop has had some of the best people to leave the mark on us. We have lost artist from Eazy E to Tupac, DirtySouthHipHop will be honoring the top 3 legends we lost due to unfair circumstances in their life.
- Eazy E ( September 7, 1964 – March 26, 1995 )
Eric Wright who is known as Eazy E forms being a part of the most legendary rap group N.W.A. sadly lost his life to Aids on March 26, 1995. He died in Los Angelos and left a strong legacy behind him. With being in the group N.W.A. he sold millions of records and was never afraid of speaking his mind. Artists today sample his music from all over and continue to pay tribute to the legendary rapper.
2. 2pac ( June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996 )
Tupac Shakur is known as 2pac sadly died on September 13, 1996. He was killed in Los Vegas by a drive-by shooting after a car pulled beside him and shot at him multiple times. He left a strong legacy behind him and had a great voice speaking on rascim and being a very young vocal activist. He sold over 75 million records and released 5 studio albums. His legacy remains alive today.
3. Notourious B.I.G. ( May 21, 1972 – March 9, 1997 )
Christopher Wallace is best known as Notorious B.I.G. sadly passed away on March 9, 1997, in Los Angeles, California. He was assassinated right after a party he attended. Biggie was loved all over the nation and was selling records like crazy. He sold over 13.4 million albums and his music still remains alive today.
