Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode” goes Diamond

Drake and Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode” has been announced to be an official RIAA certified diamond single. On December 9th, the Recording Industry Association of America made a huge announcement, which is the first diamond single for Travis Scott but also a huge accomplishment for Drake as well.

The single has sold a whopping 10 million copies. So far in his years of grounding himself in the music industry, more specifically the rap genre,  Scott has accomplished so much. In the past, Travis has received offers from PS5, Fornite, and even a fancy Swiss perfume designer.

Scott has been nominated and won six times at the GRAMMY awards, started a fashion line, and became a huge style icon. He’s also ASTROWORLD’s Festival curator and Cactus Jack record label founder. Drake and Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode” has been streamed on Spotify over 1.2 billion times and also has 735 million views on YouTube.

Besides the original “Sicko Mode” being certified Diamond, Sicko Mode featuring Drake is now also certified DIAMOND too. The record was named to HipHopDX’s 2018 “Collaboration” & “Beat Of The Year” in the annual Hip Hop Awards. Drake is such a big influence on music whenever he features on a single, especially for this one

The single was also on the 2018 ASTROWORLD and was also named by Billboard as one of the “Songs That Defined the Decade.” The popular track featured on Travis Scott’s Astroworld dropped in 2018. The album featured other artists such as Kid Cudi, Frank Ocean, The Weeknd, Swae Lee, 21 Savage, Quavo, Juice WRLD, and many more.

Even though Astroworld will always be in our hearts, it’s all about UTOPIA for Travis now.

Travis Scott is currently undergoing his fourth studio album which he first mentioned back in October. He revealed the title and his plans to bring out the best as he celebrated receiving his third No. 1 record this year with the Young Thug and M.I.A.-assisted “FRANCHISE.”

Earlier this month, Travis Scott covered Forbes Magazine’s 30 under 30 issue, stating how he earned $100 million in the past year. In addition to this spread, Travis Scott is hoping to start planning his ASTROWORLD festival next year once the pandemic is over.
