TDE Songstress Gets First Solo Top 10 Single
Sza’s musical momentum in 2020 has carried over into this year as her single “Good Days” has charted at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. Over the past week, the song from the TDE Singer went from number 23 to 10.
“Good Days” is SZA’s first top 10 single as a solo artist with her other two top 10 songs coming from collaborations with Maroon 5 (“What Lovers Do“) and Kendrick Lamar (“All the Stars”)
Along with SZA’s single “Hit Different” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, “Good Days” has led to a resurgence for her talks about dropping a new album.
Upon seeing that “Good Days” was in the top 10, SZA took to Twitter to give gratitude to her fans and gives word that a music video for the song is coming soon.

2021 looks to be the year that TDE brings multiple projects out as a collective. Isaiah Rashad has also mentioned that he was in the process of mixing his next album.
Although fans would also like an update on a potential album from Kendrick Lamar, the front-man of TDE has not made any announcements about releasing any music personally.
SZA’s last album CTRL came out in June 2017 and debuted at number 3 on the US Billboard 200 with 60,000 units sold. With songs like “Broken Clocks” and “The Weekend” in the mix, fans and critics adore this album from SZA.
In an interview with Apple Music, SZA talks about how her anxious nature has a lot to do with her new album not dropping sooner following CTRL’s success:
“I just really want to put out more music and more-this body of work that I’ve been working on…everything sounds different, If you leave it up to me, ain’t no telling when sh*t’s gonna come out because I have anxiety.”
The success of “Good Days” looks to be a sign of great things to come from SZA.
