Princeton Perez releases a new music video to his latest single “Chew it up!” In the music video, it shows him with 4 other dancers bopping to his beats and him saying “chew it up.” In this hyped-up music video, many people were not amused by the outcomes of it. Many Instagram comments mentioned about the very poor quality of the music video and editing making it look “cheap.” While others said the song was rather annoying and had no meaning to it. Many also mentioned how the video looked like it came from 2016. One Instagram user wrote, “why the hell is he bopping to a song that just ain’t a bop?” Many other critical comments were made within the last 24-hour mark.
Who was Mindless Behavior?
Princeton Perez comes from the pop boy band group, Mindless Behavior, Put together by producers Vincent Herbert (worked with Toni Braxton, Destiny’s Child, and Lady Gaga.) Mindless Behavior featured singers/dancers Prodigy, Ray Ray, Roc Royal as well as Princeton, The group was signed to Interscope and debuted on the Billboard charts in February 2011 with their first single, “My Girl” Shortly after the release of the follow-up single, “Mrs. Right,” the group’s first album, #1 Girl, debuted at number seven on Billboard 200. The group’s second album, All Around the World, followed in March 2013. It entered the Billboard 200 at number six but quickly disappeared from the chart and was a disappointment sales-wise. During the next couple of years, the group’s membership underwent some turnover.
What happened to Mindless Behavior?
Later on, EJ and Mike River replaced the Prodigy and Roc Royal after they left the group in September 2015, they and recorded the group’s third album, #OfficialMBMusic. There vocal approach to their new album was very different from the group’s past, more rap-oriented, and very explicit. the group went on from 2008 through 2017. Now Princeton Perez is a solo artist.
