The app Tiktok launched in 2016 with one of the most installed apps. The app which is Chinese-owned had been accused on spying and collecting more data than needed.
In a very recent interview, U.S Secretary of State made the statement they didn’t feel safe with private information in the hands of Commumist Parties. Other countries had banned this app because of the spying allegations such as India. Billions of millenials had downloded this app to promote their music, and connect with each other.
Many millennials, and Gen Z aren’t satisfied with this decision. This decision will effect the way teens communicate, and promote their ongoing projects. Many say Tiktok is irriplaceable but are searching for a substitute.
