New music from Kid Cudi, King Von and NBA Youngboy.
While Playboi Carti fans face another week without Whole Lotta Red, the rest of the hip-hop world has a lot of new music to dive into this week. Kid Cudi dropped his long awaited finale to the Man On The Moon series, and there is new music from some of the dirty south’s hottest stars as well.
After ten long years, and six albums in-between, Kid Cudi has finally released Man On The Moon III. Don’t expect the output from Mr. Rager to slow down anytime soon though. In a recent interview with Apple Music 1‘s Zane Lowe, Cudi hinted that he has another solo project in the works titled Entergalactic, as well as the long rumored collaborative album with Travis Scott The Scotts. MOTM3 is a mostly solo affair, however does contain features from Pop Smoke, Trippie Redd, Skepta and Phoebe Bridgers.
King Von returned from the grave this week for a Funkmaster Flex produced hit, “Lurkin,” which is reportedly the first single from Flex’s new album. YoungBoy Never Broke Again also released two new songs this week, continuing his insanely prolific run. He’s already six albums, and a slew of YouTube exclusive singles deep this year. Atlanta rapper Mulatto unleashed a deluxe edition to her debut album Queen Of Da Souf, with feature from Lil Baby. Lil Baby also pops up on the new Jack Harlow album That’s What They All Say.
Rounding out the list is new music from up-and-coming Orlando rapper Hotboiii, TikTok sensation Mario Judah (who also didn’t release his version of Whole Lotta Red), and there’s a new Benny The Butcher track as well.
