Kid Cudi continues to leave his footprint wherever he goes.
Kid Cudi is back at again. Cudi is spearheading a new artist-empowering live music app, “Encore”, with his past collaborator Ian Edelman and billionaire Jonathan Gray. With the stoppage of tours and live performances due to COVID-19, such a platform couldn’t come at a better time.
Within “Encore”, artists can post their new music, engage with their fans, and host live performances from anywhere. Fans can gift their favorite artists with their own content, and have the opportunity to get exclusive merchandise.
With the app available in its Beta, Kid Cudi has been in the meantime teasing his new upcoming album, “Man On The Moon III”, which be announced at a later date.
Cudi Is Here For The Long Haul.
The founders of Encore were able to get the app available for a private Beta, which is available now, by securing a $2 million dollar seed round from Battery Ventures firm made earlier this year. Bag secured.
Kid Cudi will be serving the Encore team by taking upon the role of Chief Creative Officer. Gray, will be serving alongside his co-founders as the CEO with Edelman taking on the President position.
With Kid Cudi holding a high-ranking position and being co-founder, it is safe to say that Encore will be here for the long haul. Kid Cudi has been known to be very hands-on when it comes to his ventures, so one can imagine how serious he will take his role in helping the app succeed.
Musicians and fans alike can register right now to be apart of Encore.
