Megan Thee Stallion Freestyles About Her Shooting

Meg’s Freestyle

In an Instagram post over the weekend, Megan Thee Stallion shared a freestyle that showed her in top form. She sat in front of her laptop as she spit a freestyle for her followers over a beat made by @liljumadedabeat covering a variety of topics. The multi-platinum recording artist turned heads when she mentioned the shooting incident earlier this year. She said, “Got shot two times and I ate that sh*t // Bounced right back with a Revlon deal.” This is not the first time Megan Thee Stallion has posted about Tory Lanez’s alleged shooting on Instagram. As everyone speculated on what may have happened that night, Megan finally went on live to address the shooting in an emotional speech. This came after the internet bombarded her with memes making light of the situation. Something that even caused 50 Cent to apologize to her for not understanding the severity of the situation.

Triumphant Return

The freestyle Megan posted shows her in a much better place than what we saw when she went on Instagram live to confirm the shooting. She now seems to have overcome the incident and has grown stronger through the experience. Not only has she overcome the ordeal, but she also mentions the fact that she has been announced as the new global brand ambassador for the beauty brand Revlon. This has been a monumental year for the artist who has won the MTV Video Music Award for Best Hip-Hop Video of her hit “Savage.” She then proceeds to break the internet with “WAP,” her collaboration with Cardi B, all while dealing with the fake stories swirling around her regarding the shooting incident with Tory Lanez. Even with the hiccup, she is still on track to have her best performing year to date as 2020 slowly crawls to a close.
