Meg Debunks Rumors That Charges Were Dropped
Megan Thee Stallion is dealing with a great deal of personal trauma following her being shot in the foot by Tory Lanez. Megan Thee Stallion pressed assault charges on Tory Lanez in October of 2020 following being shot in July.
The first court date for the charges against Lanez had been postponed due to the inauguration however, rumors began to surface that the charges had been dropped.
In a fit of frustration and disappointment with the media, Meg took to her Twitter to clarify that the case was still going on. She stated the reasoning for the postponement and reinforced that Tory was guilty.
“Y’all can’t tell when sh*t fake news? Y’all still don’t see an ABUSER picking with me ? The first court date got pushed back bc of the inauguration but I can’t wait until the MF FACTS come out !”
“Bi**h you shot me AND MY STORY NOT CHANGING AND BI**H YOU GOING TO JAIL.”
Despite her great success with her music and other ventures, Meg has been facing constant scrutiny as it relates to what actually happened in the incident with her and Tory.
“AT THIS POINT IM GETTING ANNOYED ! STOP BELIEVING EVERYTHING YOU READ ON THE MF INTERNET.”
“Imagine how I feel waking every day seeing people LIE and turn my trauma into a joke ?”
“That whole team figures out ways to create doubt with my story every week and the media eats it up.”
Meg closed out her rant by questioning why her claim is not considered valid off of her word as a Black woman in a traumatic situation.
Y’all so believe black women and protect black women online BUT WHEN I LITERALLY SAY I GOT SHOT ITS CONFUSING

Although Meg’s music career has been climbing at a great pace over the last two years, her incident with Tory Lanez serves as a very problematic obstacle to overcome. The Houston Hottie will be looking for justice in her situation with Tory when the trial begins.
