Lloyd Banks Responds To Rick Ross Diss

Rick Ross Celebration

Rick Ross celebrates another victory after a court ruled against 50 Cent’s appeal regarding a copyright infringement dating back to 2018. 50 cent sued Rick Ross over the promotion of Ross’s album Black Market, where he used 50 Cent’s likeness and the song “In Da Club.” In classic Ross fashion, he has made sure that 50 Cent will not forget this loss anytime soon, with constant antagonizing. However, Ross has let his victory lap spill over to other G-Unit members as he pulls them into this recent flurry of attacks.

Reigniting The Past?

With a history of bad blood between them, Rick Ross took to social media over the weekend to take shots at Lloyd Banks. In a video where Rick Ross calls out the G-Unit rapper, he says “Banks is fresh out the gutter/ Two scoops of butter, Banks, you still got some money? Show us what you livin’ like. If you ain’t got no money, I’ll give you five grand for the Banks name. That might be one of my aliases – Dank Sinatra.” This was one of the statements Ross put online when one of his friends admitted that he never stopped being a fan of Lloyd Banks. Ross challenges this by saying, “We discussing Lloyd Banks right now, one of my homies just said he never really stopped being a Lloyd Banks fan. So I said look, umm I hit the blunt once, I came up with a dope title for Lloyd Banks next LP. Or EP,” he quips, “Victim Of Circumstance.” The punchline fell flat and didn’t really garner the reaction he expected from his friend.

Banks Replies

Lloyd Banks later posted a tweet seemingly responding to Rick Ross’s rant. He wrote, “I’ll NEVER join the don’t expect it from me..peace & love.” His response ended the speculation of a beef reigniting between the two, but Banks’ fans were more than eager to join the circus. Rick Ross was bombarded with reminders of the Lloyd Banks diss track, “Officer Down.” They were also quick to remind Ross that there was never a response to the song. For Ross’s next endeavour, maybe we will see a response, or maybe we will see Lloyd Banks join the circus and release a part 2.
