Lil Yachty is officially clapping back at haters for calling him “Sus.” He has ironically become a very well known ghostwriter and claims his writing skills secured him a massive bag.
It’s known to everyone who has background music knowledge that Lil Yachty wrote “Act Up,” one of the many City Girl’s hits. Instead of congratulating the rapper for his masterpiece, a fan thought it would be a smart idea to mock Yachty for his creativity in making the “Act up, baby you can get snatched up” hit. This motivated the artist to flex on the “fan” by explaining how blessed he was and how it benefited him.
“That was an eight-figure check and it’s still coming—I’m sorry.puimk 7,” Lil Yachty told viewers while getting his hair braided on Live. “Let me talk to whoever that civilian was on the last insert. These niggas be so closed-minded, right? And these niggas ain’t never seen any real money, right,” he continued.
Last April (2019), “Oprah’s Bank Account” rapper revealed that he purposely wrote the song for his fellow QC labelmates. Yachty played the beat for Kerwin Frost and EarlThePearl. They told him to create something for the City Girls.
Besides Lil Yachty’s recent Instagram drama, he was recently sued
Lil Yachty was recently sued by Jimmy Quivac who claimed he and his crew “made a hit” as he was heading inside the Rolling Loud Festival last December to watch a tribute to the late Juice WRLD.
Jimmy also claimed he was walking alone while heading into the L.A. Coliseum when he noticed the rapper and a large group of people standing at the entrance. As he tried going around the crowd through the crowd, Jimmy claims someone yelled at him for bumping into them, and Yachty allegedly punched him in the melee.
I guess Yachty had a share of many unlucky events this week and last. Maybe the massive cash out came with a curse.
