Lil Uzi Vert Arrested For Playing Airsoft In Streets Of Philadelphia

Lil Uzi Vert nearly got caught by the police for a paintball match with his friends.

Lil Uzi Vert almost got arrested for the most Lil Uzi reason ever. He and his friends decided to have a paintball war in the streets of Philadelphia and even went Instagram Live about it, before getting caught by the police.

Police were called in due to reports of real shots being fired between Uzi and his entourage. While several of Uzi’s friends were arrested, he managed to escape the cops. Authorities recovered seven paintball guns from his car.

Note: none of the people in this video are Lil Uzi, despite the caption. His friends only received tickets and were released promptly after booking.

Prior to involvement from the police, Uzi took to Instagram Live to share the paintball match with his followers. Uzi also shows off his collection of guns, many of which can shoot off several rounds at once. Check out a screen recording of IG Live below. In the video, you can see some of the damage one of Uzi’s friends did to his car. They are really just out in Philadelphia, driving around and shooting at each other.

This is not the first time Lil Uzi has had trouble with police for ridiculous reasons. In 2016 Uzi was arrested in Atlanta for riding a motorbike on the wrong side of the road. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Uzi and a friend “entered a Texaco gas station and began to accelerate toward people who were walking in the lot. The dirt bikes had no headlights, brake lights or tail lights, and neither driver was wearing a helmet.”

Check out Lil Uzi’s new song with Lil Tecca, with a music video directed by Cole Bennet.
