Legend DMX Dead At 50 Years Old

These past few days have been quite eventful with legend DMX’s life on the line when at 50 years old he suffered a life-threatening overdose. Unfortunately, it was announced he is dead.

DMX’s brain function was not looking too good and had little to no oxygen the few minutes after he overdosed.

He was held on life support in a New York hospital, however, his brain function showed little to no improvement. Sadly yesterday (Thursday) his organs function was dramatically decreasing.

The Announcement

The rep went to TMZ to announce the devastating death of the legendary rapper/actor.

“We are deeply saddened to announce today that our loved one, DMX, birth name of Earl Simmons, passed away at 50 years old at White Plains Hospital with his family by his side after being placed on life support for the past few days. Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end,” they began.

They continue to say how his music inspired many people including his fans, and how the legacy will never end.

“He loved his family with all of his heart and we cherish the times we spent with him.”

“Earl’s music inspired countless fans across the world and his iconic legacy will live on forever.”

“We appreciate all of the love and support during this incredibly difficult time. Please respect our privacy as we grieve the loss of our brother, father, uncle and the man the world knew as DMX.”

“We will share information about his memorial service once details are finalized.”

The legend was surrounded by his loved ones while going through this tragic event, including his beloved fiancée, kids, and mother.

DMX will never be forgotten as he inspired many people to be more, he holds a special place in many hearts and will never stop being missed.
