Kodak Black releases new music.
Kodak Black has made it very clear that he’s not letting any jail time get in the way of producing new music for his fans. While serving time for two weapons charges, the “Tunnel Vision” rapper released a new album called Bill Israel.
The album is comprised of 11 songs, and features Gucci Mane, Jackboy, Lil Yachty. Tory Lanez, who also has had some run-ins with the law (e.g. shooting Megan Thee Stallion), makes an appearance as well. Kodak’s last studio album was Dying to Live.
Kodak took a plea deal in 2019 for a federal gun case which got him 46 months in prison. The Florida rapper was transferred between two other prisons before ending up at his current residence, USP Thompson in Illinois. Kodak has made multiple claims in the past of beatings from the guards at Kentucky’s United States Penitentiary, also known as Big Sandy.
Following a lawsuit claiming Kodak received emotional and physical abuse from the guards, the Florida rapper was transferred. In September, Kodak’s lawyer posted a few tidbits of information to the gram of what was going on with his client at the time.
On Monday (Nov. 10) Kodak Black took to Instagram to announce the release Bill Israel. The comment section became flooded with fans that have long awaited new music from the artist.

Kodak Black and NBA YoungBoy happened to drop albums on the same day as well. Since the two artists have a history of bad blood, fans naturally compared their albums.
Youngboy literally just dropped an album keep it. Give me that Kodak I've been waiting years for.

A few more critics took the time to throw some shade at Playboy Carti, as they were puzzled at Kodak Black’s ability to dish out an album before Carti.
