So what has Killer Mike been up to?

The “Run the Jewels” artist recently announced the launching of Greenwood, a digital bank co-founded by Bounce’s TV Ryan Glover, former Atlanta mayor Andrew Young, and Killer Mike.  Named after the Greenwood district of Tulsa, Oklahoma, better known as Black Wall Street, and will cater to Black and Latinx communities.

Greenwood was launched to assist in combating entry barriers black-owned businesses tend to face when applying for loans at white-owned banks. This is definitely a game-changer. Killer Mike also teamed up with Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms to assist Atlanta residents in completing the 2020 census. Completing the census would heighten communities’ access to more resources.
