Juelz Santana Released from Prison.

Released from Prison

After almost two years of being incarcerated, Rapper Juelz Santana has been released from prison. Juelz’s original release date was February 2021. Hojwever, Juelz’s wife Kimbella and his legal team have been pushing for an early release amid the coronavirus. After being granted an early release because of Covid-19, Juelz and his team were initially told he’d be released last week. But his release date was pushed back a week for unknown reasons.

Incident and Charges

In March of 2018, Juelz fled Newark Libert International Airpot. He was attempting to escape TSA agents because they recovered a loaded .38-caliber handgun as well as oxycodone pills in his bags. Juelz escaped the airport and was on the run for three days before turning himself in custody on the outstanding warrants. initially, Juelz was denied bail, but at later court dates his bail was set at $500,000. His mother was able to come up with the money and bail him out a few weeks later. upon being realized Juelz was ordered to be on house arrest. In December of 2018, Juelz was sentenced to 27 months of prison.

Upon his release, Juelz was treated by his wife and children. He took to Instagram and posted a picture of himself wearing a black hat that read “Satana Free”. The caption on the picture read “I missed my family…. God is Good. Finally Free” There has been no word on when Juelz will get back in the studio, but I don’t think it will be long. While incarcerated, Juelz had his team release a mixtape for his earlier this year, entitled Free Sanatan. It’s great to see Juelz is home safe and back with his family.
