Is Nick Cannon ready to sue Viacom?
Last month Viacom dropped Nick Cannon for making comments that they deemed Anti-Semitic. Nick Cannon has since apologized via his Instagram. “First and foremost I extend my deepest and most sincere apologies to my Jewish sisters and brothers for the hurtful and divide words that came out of my mouth during my interview with Richard Griffin”. Nick also had Rabii Abraham Cooper on his podcast, in an attempt to further his education on the Jewish community.
The apology and continuing his education on the matter were not enough for Viacom, as they still insisted on dropping him. It seems as if Nick is willing to take responsibility of his actions. However, he isn’t ready to let go of his hit show Wild-N-Out without putting up a fight for it.

Nick Cannon and Wild ‘n Out cast
According to The Shaderoom, Nick is suing Viacom for $1.5 billion dollars. Wild-N-Out was created by Nick back in 2005. The show has broken many black comedians and actors. One of Nick’s reps recently commented on the battle between Nick and Viacom, and they had this to say; “It’s just that simple, Wild ‘n Out belongs to Nick”. They would go on to say “The show was created by Nick Cannon with his ideas and original thought. Wild ‘n Out has brought billions of dollars in revenue to Viacom since 2015. and Nick deserves and has earned everything it is worth.
If Viacom is unwilling to hire Nick back, hopefully, they can pay him the worth the show has created. There have been no comments on if Viacom will continue the show with a new host, or just air reruns. I think we all can agree that Wild ‘n Out just won’t be the same without Nick. Hopefully, Nick is still able to create a place where young black talent can be discovered.
