Soul Train announces nominations for 2020 awards
The 2020 Soul Train Awards are coming up very quickly and it looks like famous singer H.E.R takes the lead with the highest number of nominations. With twelve diverse categories that bring attention to hip-hop, R&B, and soul, H.E.R comes out with EIGHT nominations. Some of her nominations include Song of the Year, for her song “Slide,” featuring YG, and for Best R&B/Soul Female Artist.
Behind H.E.R for nominations is Chris Brown with seven nods. Young Thug and Beyoncè are tied with six nominations. Duo Chloe X Halle, Usher, and Summer Walker have each been nominated for five awards, while YG has been nominated for four.
Returning as this year’s hosts for the awards are the fabulous actress’ Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell.
