Get Ready For Kenya Barris’ and 50 Cent’s Newest Netflix Series

Kenya Barris and 50 Cent are teaming up once again to develop a Netflix series that will be based on the 50th Law, which is also known as the bestselling book by Jackson and Robert Greene.

The creator/executive producer of the Black-ish franchise, Kenya Barris has also worked with Hale Rothstein in the making of Barris’ Netflix comedy series #blackAF. They will both in fact write the pilot script and executive produce the upcoming series with Jackson via G-Unit and Greene. Lionsgate TV has also agreed to produce through Jackson’s overall deal at Starz.

The 50th Law is a semi-autobiographical story explaining 50 Cent’s aspects of being a young urban hustler and as an up-and-coming musician with stories from important historical figures such as Sun Tzu, Malcolm X, James Baldwin, Napoleon, Abraham Lincoln, and Socrates.

Kenya Barris executive produces with his company Khalabo Ink Society through his deal at Netflix.

Barris recently just cut ties with Netflix for a producing pact at ViacomCBS. Even though Kenya Barris has ended his professional relationship with Netflix, he still is producing appreciated tv shows that many forever love. He executive produces and stars in the comedy series #blackAF, which he has promised a second season, and also executive produces the Astronomy Club sketch comedy series, as well as the upcoming Kid Cudi adult animated music series Entergalactic. Both Astronomy Club and Entergalactic are produced through his Khalabo Ink Society production.

Jackson has also worked alongside 50 Cent of the production of Power

Jackson executive produced Starz’s Power (created by Courtney Kemp) and now executive produces the four greenlit spinoff series, which all been associated through his G-Unit Film & Television. While being signed to Starz, Jackson has been working hard with G-Unit for its Season 1 production on Black Mafia Family and Season 2 of ABC drama series For Life. Besides those shows, G-Unit Film & Television also works with Family Affair at ABC, A Moment In Time: Massacre, and an untitled Female Sports Agent project at Starz, and the T.I.-lead Twenty Four Seven at Paramount+.
