G Herbo and other artist are helping to make a difference by promoting the idea of voting for young adults
TheBasement Series recently made a collaboration with Audiomack to present the “From TheBasement to the Ballot” event. Comedian/actress Jasmin Brown will host the live stream, which their primary focus is to educate GenZ and first-time voters about the upcoming Presidential Election on November 3.
Many already know how big this election is (like any other presidential election). Organizations such as “When We All Vote” and huge stars such as 2 Chainz, Michelle Obama, Zendaya, Billie Eilish, and Tracee Ellis Ross have been a tremendous help with promoting the idea of voting towards young adults.
Jason Johnson, Audiomack’s VP, of Marketing & Brand Strategy said, “We pride ourselves on helping artists create moments that move their music forward. But in this current climate, it’s all about moving the vote forward.”
“We’re excited to partner with TheBasement Series on this initiative to help bring more awareness to this year’s Presidential Election and ensure younger voters have the resources that they need to make their voices heard.”
On the other hand, there will be a “teen summit” tabletop discussion featuring the artists and producers as well
TV/Film producer Anthony Rose, AHF Stand Against Hate representatives Lauren Hogan and Theresa Gio, the featured artists, and Yes On Prop 21 representative Rene Moya. Additionally, viewers will also get the chance to take a first look at Puma’s new VOTE t-shirt which was designed by Kyle Kuzma of the Los Angeles Lakers.
