Yesterday in Memphis, rapper Foogiano got arrested after being on the run for a while. The “Molly” hit rapper, is charged with being a fugitive from justice without a warrant. Foogiano is staying at the Shelby County Jail in Memphis for the time being.
Closer to the end of December of last year on December 29th, he disappeared with no trace for around 2 weeks. He became wanted after cutting off his ankle monitor. He has been on probation for a burglary back in 2015 but was given his monitor after his possession of a firearm.
Around the beginning of December, the rapper received an ankle-monitor that forbade him to leave his home state Georgia after being arrested for possession of a firearm.
On December 14th Foogiano was released from jail on a 50,000 cash bond, after going against his probation. However, the same exact day he was released, a service officer noticed something.
It is reported that in Barrow County, Ga. his ankle bracelet was seen on the side of the highway with the straps melted off.
Foogiano was arrested in the county over, Greene County for taking off his monitor. The artists’ car was stopped while he was riding in the back with someone else driving. Enforcement noticed the stench of marijuana and searched his car. What was found was, a sum of money, and a Glock. He was then recognized as a convicted felon.
