Floyd Mayweather recently sat down with Hollywood Unlocked to discuss the situation concerning his daughter, Yaya Mayweather, being pregnant with rapper NBA Youngboy’s child. Rumors had been circulating throughout news for the last few months speculating that the 20-year-old may be expecting,
Floyd Mayweather confirmed that his daughter IS pregnant with Youngboy’s child and that “if it makes her happy, then we’re happy. Her mom and I.”
Youngboy has gone on record saying that he is single, even though the pair have been on and off since 2019. There has been no current update on if the two are still together.
Considering how Floyd in the past has handled this situation with his daughter, it is good to see him showing support publicly for her, regardless of his feelings about who the father is.
NBA Youngboy has dissed Mayweather on his Instagram Live in the past, claiming that he was a “B***h a** daddy”. Mayweather did not engage in the public dispute, saying that the reason he acts that way is because of his upbringing.
Yaya still has to answer for her past.
Remember back in April when Yaya attacked the mother of one of Youngboy’s children? That case is still open.
Yaya was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, which is a felony. She is facing potentially up to 99 years if convicted or a fine of $10,000, but no further news has been released in regards to that case.
