Robbers Attack Diddy’s Home
The trend of home invasions on celebrities in California continues as Sean “Diddy” Combs’ was broken into. The Hip-Hop mogul’s home in the Toluca Lake neighborhood was targeted by burglars although nothing has been reported missing at this time.
The security alarm was raised after the burglars tried to pry open the side door to Diddy’s home. A house keeper had noticed the forced entry and notified the authorities who are still investigating.
This house holds bitter memories for the Bad Boy Ent. founder as it is the same place where Kim Porter, the mother of his three children was found dead in 2018. On her birthday that just passed December 15, Diddy was seen on his Instagram paying tribute to his ex-girlfriend.
Last month Diddy was celebrating the 10 year anniversary of his Dirty Money collaboration Last Train to Paris. He provided never befrore seen video footage of the creative process behind the project featuring artists like Kid Cudi and Busta Rhymes.
In 2020 Diddy did a great deal to help out people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. He provided a grant to different organizations in Miami to help 175 families facing evicitions. He was also very generous in giving his mother Janice, $1 million and a Bently for her 80th birthday.
Diddy is not the only victim of a recent home invasion as super-producer Dr. Dre’s mansion was also targeted for attempted burglary. The burglars were arrested following an attempted break-in after Dre had been hospitalized with a brain anyeurism.
In the past two years , we have seen several instances of home invasions on celebrity homes. Artists like Bun B and the late Pop Smoke also had their homes broken into with very dire consequences. Incidents like these feed into the narrative within Hip-Hop culture that being an artist is one of the most dangerous jobs in America.
