Famed Baltimore dirt bike rider Lakeyria Doughty has been charged with murder.
Lakeyria Doughty whose alias is “Wheelie Queen”, was charged with first and second-degree murder, misdemeanor and felony assault, and possession of a deadly weapon with the intent to injure in the stabbing death of girlfriend Tiffany Wilson in West Baltimore, Maryland.
“It was a domestic situation where cooler heads didn’t prevail,” stated Detective Donny Moses, a Baltimore police spokesman. Authorities discovered Doughty and Wilson were in a relationship and a dispute between the two women spewed out of control.
The Baltimore Sun reports, after stabbing Wilson, Doughty called 911. Police arrived at the scene and found Wilson dead with multiple stab wounds to the chest. Wilson succumbed to her injuries early Friday morning, making Wilson’s death Baltimore’s first homicide of 2021.
Alleged killer starred in HBO film
Doughty starred in “Charm City Kings”, an HBO film based on the urban dirt-bike riders in Baltimore, Maryland, the 12 O’Clock Boys. Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith executive produced the cutting edge film surrounding Maryland’s bike culture.
Meek Mill made his first film debut in the groundbreaking culture film. The “Wheelie Queen” is notorious for her daring stunts and skills. Doughty is also credited with breaking into a male-dominated culture. Below is an Instagram post of Doughty on set for “Charm City Kings.”
Doughty was immediately taken into custody as a witness and a potential suspect. After questioning, the Baltimore daredevil was arrested “after questioning.” It is unknown as to what sparked the altercation at this time.
The crime rate in Baltimore is alarmingly high
Killings in B-more continued at a high rate just ahead of the new year. Baltimore had a recorded 335 homicides for 2020 and 348 the year before. In 2018, Baltimore was ranked as the fourth dangerous city in America.
