The legend we all know today as, Michael Jackson, has now been gone for 11 years. He was beloved all around the world and left us many hits from the former group, Jackson 5, as well as a solo artist.
On Jun. 25th, 2009, Michael Jackson was sadly taken away from us after allegedly, “overdosing on surgical anesthetic propofol on top of a large dose of sedatives prescribed by his doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray”, according to medical experts.
Michael tragically left behind three kids, Paris Jackson, Michael Jr, and Prince Michael II.
Michael Jackson had over 1.3 billion streams global wide and had thirteen No.1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts overall. He also had 10 studio albums, 7 remix albums, and 34 compilation albums, with one live album.
To add to Michael’s musical accomplishments, Michael has been honored with thirteen Grammy Awards, the ‘Grammy Legend Award’, the ‘Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, six BRIT Awards, five Billboard Music Awards, 20 American Music Awards, and more.
With the 50 years Michael Jackson was on the Earth, he was able to collab with artists like Stevie Wonder, his sister Janet Jackson, Diana Ross, Bill Wolfer, and Paul McCartney.
Today, he continues to be one of the most legendary artists to ever live. His fans and artists will continue to carry on his legacy.
